I wrote down a few comments after Hannah's & Dick's gig at Trädgår'n an evening in April 2008: 2nd evening of live blues at Trädgår'n in a large room: designed in a light and clean Scandinavian style. Very good sound - and a very good duo. Hannah & Dick are top class, and Hannah's voice is evolving all the time. Not so surprising, considering the sophisticated jazz standards she has started to sing (in other forums) with great success. I repeat, this was an evening of the blues, and we got to hear stuff by both Muddy and Robert Johnson, but also a movingly simple "Nature Boy". This duo has already developed a lot, but they will go so much further.

A few lines on Dick Ahlin's activities: • The Duo(lian) is an acoustic Blues duo from Gothenburg. We play pre-war blues from the 20's - 30's (delta - gospel - ragtime - slide - bentonia "skip james" minor style. Members of the duo: Hannah Tolf vocals Dick Ahlin acoustic guitars, resonator, "Dobro/slide", 12 string acoustic. • Ture Einarsson Band is a project for the musician who likes to listen and play with a dynamic feeling and to improvise an electric form of blues / soul / jazz / roots songs / world / folk music etcetera. The members are all famous musicians/artists from Gothenburg: Dick Ahlin electric, acoustic and slide guitars, electric bass, backing vocals Simon Lindekrantz vocals, guitar, harmonica Henrik "Pilen" Pilquist drums, guitar Kalle Ruuth electric bass, upright bass and guitars Johan Johansson keyboards, piano, organ and backing vocals
