Mr. Lee played the drums on the first album James Hunter recorded under his own name: a masterpiece called "Believe What I Say", issued on ACE Records in 1996. And has also been seen & heard in James Hunter's touring bands.

The advance info on James Hunter's forthcoming CD "People Gonna Talk" on GO RECORDS, out in early 2005, states:
"Hunter relied on his top-notch band mates for all of the recording sessions, including longtime cohorts Damian Hand on tenor, Lee Badau on baritone, Jason Wilson on double bass and Jonathan Lee on drums/percussion."

These days Jonathan Lee is also a member of West Weston's latest outfit, West Weston's Big Rhythm - and can sometimes be found doing a jazz gig in some London club.
